I grew up and played in these mountains I call home and I have traveled to many places in the world; there is still nothing that draws me in like the incredibly stunning views these mountains can offer!

I will plan your whole Elopement for you and capture all the memories of your love story on one of the biggest days of your lives together! I will arrange the helicopter trip and everything else involved to create a magical elopement experience for you, and up to 2 guests.
Heli Elopement location: Canada, Alberta, Lake Louise + Abraham Lake
Wedding length: 8.5 hours
Meeting point: Pick up at your Lake Louise Hotel
Participants: 2 guests can join your heli elopement in the Rocky Mountains apart from the couple
Children: Preferably no children should join your Rocky mountains heli elopement, unless they are older than 5 and are very comfortable in nature
Dogs: Yes dogs are welcome. They will need to be kenneled or left with someone for the helicopter portion of this elopement
Experience: Pick up at hotel, heli ride to mountaintop, ceremony and portrait sessions, dinner at local restaurant
Sightseeing:Â Abraham Lake, Lake Louise, Helicopter ride to mountaintop
Climate: Alpine or mountain climate: Usually four seasons, with cold winters and mild summers.

I am Kelly,
an elopement photographer in the Rocky Mountains and a storyteller at heart. I have always had a camera in my hand taking photos of something. My love for photography and telling stories is a huge part of who I am. I probably need a t-shirt or tattoo that says “I see the world through my lens”! Heck, I even schedule photo shoots when I am on vacation in new places!

I eloped, so I am biased and think it’s the best way to get married…especially if you choose the mountains to do it in! I have been featured in a few Wedding Publications and my specialty is capturing the love, laughter, and tears of couples who are madly in love and wanting a unique experience that is all about them and their love story!
I am also a carefree, go-with-the-flow photographer who easily pivots when weather or situations through a curve ball so you still have an amazing day and get the best experience possible.

Rocky Mountains Heli Elopement Itinerary
This is a sample itinerary for your heli elopement in the Rocky Mountains and would change per season as the daylight and access shifts with seasons.
12:00pm Pick Up at your hotel in Lake Louise by Kelly
1:30pm Arrive at Rockies Heli base on Abraham Lake and check-in for your helicopter trip
2:00pm Helicopter Ride and Mountaintop Portrait Session (Can include your ceremony)
4:00pm Helicopter Ride Ends and snack at base
4:30pm Drive back to Lake Louise (optional as we can stay at Abraham Lake and add an activity there)
6:00pm Dinner at Lake Louise
7:30pm Champagne Toast and Portraits at Lake Louise
8:30 Return you to your hotel or go for drinks before returning
Your Heli Elopement Package - Comments
There is possibility to reschedule your heli elopement in the Rocky Mountains by +-2 days under the condition that everyone is available.
We can adjust this program to include anything you want to do and if so add additional time to fit the activities and sights you want to see. For example, we can add a stop at Moraine Lake before we head off to your helicopter ride or a canoe trip on Lake Louise.
Comment on legal marriage: Yes, you can legally get married during this experience with an officiant (additional fee to add this).
There are no residency or citizenship requirements. There is no time period that must pass between the date a couple arrives in Alberta and the date a marriage license is issued. Anyone from anywhere can get married here in Alberta and you do NOT need to be here for a number of days before your legal ceremony (IE: You can be here in Alberta/Canada less than 24hrs or you can be here for days or weeks before, it’s up to you)
Blood tests are not required. A marriage license is valid for 3 months from the date it is issued.
Once your marriage license is obtained you have 3 months from the date it was issued to you to use it and file your paperwork for legalizing your marriage in Alberta. A marriage ceremony may take place the same day a marriage licence is issued. There is no waiting time required
You do require 2 witnesses to sign as well, but the helicopter pilot and I can do this for you.
I can provide in acquiring a marriage license.
There is a $40CDN government fee for the marriage licence. (Paid by the couple directly to the registry agent)
Registry agents will charge a service fee. Service fees vary among registry agents.
Payment terms:
You have to book a 15% deposit to ourplatform to secure your date.
Then 1500 USD after the first videocall paid directly to your local vendor.
Final amount 10 days before your elopement paid directly to your local vendor.

Your Heli Elopement in the Rockies- Tipps & Infos
This heli elopement in the Rocky Mountains is not super exerting (the helicopter is doing the trip up a mountain to amazing views for us). You still require good footwear for rugged terrain, layers that can be worn under your wedding attire if needed, as well as a warm, waterproof coat as the weather in the mountains is always unpredictable and you can experience multiple seasons in one day across locations.
Bring snacks and water to stay energized and hydrated all day.
Bring your phones so you can also take photos as the views are breathtaking and you will want to document them for yourself as well.

Guests (up until 2 persons) can come to your heli elopement in the Rocky Mountains at 349 USD extra charge. They get the helicopter ride and dinner included.
