It is truly an epic location and the perfect place for an adventurous elopement!

Experience: Getting ready photos at glamping site, hike in red wood, ceremony, portraits, golden hour & blue hour photos with lantern, overnight at romantic glamping site
Sightseeing: Big Sur, Redwood forest, Bixby Bridge, hidden beach location
Climate:Oceanic climate: Mild wet summers, mild and wet winters. Beautiful weather year round. The climate is mild all year round. Summer and fall are dry and warm, winters are colder and wet (which is great if you love more mood in your photos!) I always keep clear umbrellas on me in case of rain.
Available: All year round.
Please note, Big Sur doesn’t allow elopements on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

I love National Parks, The Office, ramen, and my cat. Oh, and I love to create beautiful photographs for couples to look back on and cherish for a lifetime. That’s why I created this California Elopement Package in Big Sur for you.
I approach photography with an adventurous, intimate, and organic style. When it comes to editing, I’m inspired by the tones of the earth and the look of film. Wide shots that showcase the dramatic landscape and environment of your wedding or session location are my absolute favorite.
I aim to capture the raw and real moments that happen in between the poses to reflect your unique personalities, relationship, and love for each other. While I want to provide you with beautiful images you will cherish for the rest of your lives, I also want to create a fun and intimate experience that feels like falling in love all over again.
Itinerary for your California Elopement Package in Big Sur
This itinerary for your California Elopement Package in Big Sur can be completely reimagined to fit your vision. I’m familiar with the entire coast of Big Sur and am more than happy to offer you different views or locations for your elopement.
1pm  –  I’ll meet you at your glamping site at Alila Ventana Big Sur to meet and go over our plans for the day. I’ll snap some getting ready & detail photos, and we can do a first look if you’d like to!
2pm  –  Head up Highway 1 to our next location for a light hike through the redwoods to your ceremony site.
3pm  –  Your ceremony & vows under the gorgeous light in a redwoods forest.
3:30pm  –  take a moment to celebrate being a married couple and take some portraits in the woods!
5pm  –  Last stop at my favorite Big Sur beach for golden hour, sunset, and blue hour photos! We’ll take some photos on the beach, then walk up to my secret spot away from the beach and document your first dance on the cliffside. Lastly, we’ll finish off with some blue hour lantern portraits and even go in the water if you’re feeling extra adventurous!
7pm  –  End of photographic coverage, and time to enjoy the rest of your evening together!

Meals: While I always bring snacks with me, meals will be needed to be taken care of on your own. The photographic coverage of your California elopement is intended to begin after lunch and end just in time for you to head to dinner! I’m always happy to recommend my favorite eateries in the area.

Bring sweaters and layers because it can get chilly in the evening during your California elopement in Big Sur, even in the warmer months.

If you’re coming from out of town, I recommend driving or flying into the North end of Big Sur as most of my selection locations are on this side
