Your Moraine Lake Elopement Wedding Photographers
Troy and I are like Hobbits. We love nature, animals, simple pleasures like watching the weather change, the smell of a campfire, a good beer and a tasty meal after an exhilarating day of skiing or hiking.
We discovered Banff while planning our own destination wedding. We lived in Los Angeles at the time. It was love at first sight!
I cried all the way home after our wedding! I didn’t want to leave. As it turns out, I didn’t have to. Troy finished his PhD and was offered a position teaching at Mt. Royal University in Calgary. We relocated here from L.A. and never looked back.
That was in 2007. Since then, our family has grown—2 kids, 3 dogs and 4 cats later, our Hobbit Hole is a chaotic mess of love and fur. Every day we marvel at our good fortune to live and work in such beauty. It’s an artist’s dream.
I think the Canadian Rockies are the most romantic place to get married. That’s why we created this Moraine Lake Elopement Wedding Package for you.
When I connect with a couple planning a wedding at Moraine Lake, I get goosebumps.
I know they are in for an experience of a lifetime.
We get it. We’ve been there ourselves. And we can’t wait to show you why we love it here.

Your Moraine Lake Wedding - Comments
If the weather conditions make it dangerous to proceed with parts of your Moraine Lake Wedding, the itinerary might be adjusted.
If arrangements cannot be made for accommodation at the Moraine Lake Lodge or transportation into Moraine Lake by shuttle or taxi is not available, alternatives to Moraine Lake will be discussed. Both Emerald Lake and Lake Louise are excellent substitutes.

Weather
The weather in the mountains is always changing! You can expect rain and/ or snow in any season! The warm season lasts from June to early Oct. with an average daily high temperature above 60F and into the 30s at night.
Despite it being summer, we suggest bringing hats, gloves and warm jackets. The temperature drops quickly once the sun goes down, and wind on the lake can be chilly! Hiking boots or comfortable shoes are a must. You can change into dress shoes once on location. The trails around the lake are smooth and well maintained.
