LGBTQ Friendly: I am 100% LGBTQ+ friendly and will always go above and beyond for all of my clients, no matter their gender, love preference, or physique. There is a possibility to get legally married.
I have celebrants that I can recommend who can guide you through this process. Below are the details they need to know about legal marriage:
All citizens of the United Kingdom can obtain their legal marriage certificates through a registry office. This will need to be organized separately from the elopement experience, as the ceremony during this experience is symbolic and not legally binding.
All non-UK citizens will need to apply for a Marriage Visitor visa to get legally married in the U.K.
My recommended celebrants can guide you more thoroughly through this information, explain costs, waiting times, and what to expect from the process.

A 15% deposit is payable directly through the platform to secure your date. Adventure Wedding Platform’s 21-day money-back guarantee applies.

Your Snowdonia Elopement in the UK - Tips & Infos
We will be walking up Pen yr Ole Wen. Parking is available along the A5 (Betws-y-Coed LL24 0EU), and we will meet at the start of the walk, near a path across the bridge. I will send images of this meeting spot in an email after booking to help you locate it. The coordinates are 53.125230, -3.991479.
This area of Wales is only accessible by car, so please ensure you have your own transport to get from your accommodation to the meeting point. If you plan to elope in Wales, I can recommend car rentals. The nearest airports are Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport, both within a 2-hour drive. London airports are at least a 6-hour drive away.
For your Elopement in the UK, we’ll be hiking for sunset, so we will meet in the afternoon to allow plenty of time to reach the mountain and make the most of the photo opportunities along the way.
Pen yr Ole Wen, located alongside the Ogwen Valley, offers some of the best views of Pen yr Tryfan. This walk will take us through several photogenic spots and is easier than the hike up Tryfan. While we likely won’t summit Ole Wen, you have the option to continue the hike if you wish. The journey will be documented from the moment we meet until we finish. An assistant will join us to help with capturing content and carrying any items if needed.
You can expect plenty of walking and talking if you elope in Wales, with moments when I’ll ask you to pause so I can direct you into poses. Some poses will be pre-planned based on my experience with this route, while others will be spontaneous. Remember, although it’s a photoshoot, it’s also a hike, so if either of you needs a break at any point, please let me know. We’ll take our time to ensure you both look your best, and I encourage taking frequent breaks.
The ceremony and champagne pop are usually planned for the end of the hike. We’ll provide instructions to help you capture the best shot of the champagne pop. With extensive experience in champagne popping, we’ll ensure you get great tips for a perfect celebration!
You can expect a relaxed and informal environment if you elope in Wales. Many of my couples have commented on how they felt like they were just enjoying a pleasant day out, and some have even forgotten I was there! If you have specific poses or ideas you’d like to capture, please let me know and share any photos that might help me understand your vision. I plan to offer a mix of documentary storytelling and posed photos, and I’m always open to your ideas for your Elopement in the UK!
