Get married in Lake Como - Tips & Infos
Lake Como is quite crowded, so if you decide to get married in Lake Como, we recommend holding the ceremony at a villa that you can rent for your stay. Alternatively, you can rent a villa solely for the ceremony without needing to stay overnight. We have a list of recommended villas, most of which come with a pool. Prices for these villas start at around 2,500 USD and can vary based on different factors.
Typically, a single villa accommodates 10 people, but additional guests can be hosted in nearby villas.
Wear light and breathable clothing, as summer temperatures and humidity are often high. Get married in Lake Como, and remember to bring a hat and sunglasses.
Dress in layers with a waterproof jacket and warm shoes during the winter months. A scarf and gloves can add extra comfort.
Bring a light jacket or sweater, as evenings in Lake Como can be cool in spring or autumn.
If you plan to participate in outdoor activities like the boat tour, being in good physical condition is beneficial. Ensure you’re comfortable walking and engaging in moderate activities.
Check for any food allergies before your trip and let us know in advance so we can customize the menu.
Get married in Lake Como and don’t forget to bring your medications and a small travel pharmacy with you.
Milan Malpensa Airport is the closest, followed by Linate and Bergamo.
You can take a train from Milan to Varenna or Como, followed by a short taxi ride.
If you wish to explore the surrounding region, renting a car is advisable.
We will inform you of the meeting point once the ceremony location is confirmed. Please try to arrive a bit early to reduce stress.
