About Me

Hello, We are Irene & Rickard. A husband and wife elopement-photographers team, lighthearted and fun, easygoing artistic people. With us you will get the most amazing pictures and adventure. I, Irene, work as a freelance-journalist and photographer and my work and photography has been published in many major national magazines. We are locals and live in Västervik knowing all the most beautiful and best secret spots. Rickard is the photographer with the eye for detail, usually always having silly jokes or interesting mythological tales at hand, the practical handy down to earth type who makes sure the schedules are kept, the places are reached and the visions actually made come alive and true. As a strong believer that food is the true way of staying happy over time, he always brings snacks, fruits and bars to keep everyone happy – read - not hungry ;) We love artistic original ideas, gifs, double-exposures and for us it's important that the couples we work with are feeling comfortable to be themselves. We capture candid moments, the true essence of YOU and YOUR love, but we will sometimes pose you and guide you by promts in a way that feels natural and comfortable and fun for you, to create the most artistic photos. We rarely to almost never have "look into the camera - and smile" photos, because frankly, that's mostly awkward and not so very natural.
