Troy and I are like Hobbits. As it turns out, I didn’t have to. Troy finished his PhD and was offered a position teaching at Mt. Royal University in Calgary. We relocated here from L.A. and never looked back. That was in 2007. Since then, our family has grown—2 kids, 3 dogs and 4 cats later, our Hobbit Hole is a chaotic mess of love and fur. Every day we marvel at our good fortune to live and work in such beauty.
