We get ready together, and I beautifully capture intimate moments before we head out for the hikes you’ve chosen. Lace up your boots and make your way to your Wisconsin elopement spot. After a day filled with meaningful moments, unwind with a romantic picnic and champagne toast, followed by a serene beach walk and magical night lantern photos to end your perfect day.

Gather at the hotel or Airbnb for the getting-ready photos of your Wisconsin elopement, write vows, pack up, and more.
Head to the South parking lot of the park and make sure we have our backpacks ready. (There are restrooms and concession stands available if needed.).
Documentary-style photos of your Wisconsin elopement will be taken along the hike, along with some carefully chosen poses at key locations. We begin at the Devil’s Doorway Loop Trailhead and make our way toward the Balanced Rock Trail. This section can be steep and strenuous, but steps are built into the boulders to aid the climb. Once we reach the top, the terrain becomes easier.
Depending on your preference, we can stop at Balanced Rock, Devil’s Doorway, or continue along the East Bluff Trail, which is more level, leading to a popular stop called Potholes. Just beyond this natural wonder lies a stunning staircase nestled between massive boulders, making for an incredible photo backdrop and a perfect spot for a snack and hydration break. While it’s not labeled on the map, it’s one of my favorite hidden gems.
Along the way, you’ll find meadows and wildflowers, adding beautiful variety to your photos. While celebrating your Devil’s Lake Wedding, we can also explore Grotto’s Trail, a peaceful, wooded path that offers even more scenic opportunities.

At this point, the sun has already dipped behind the cliffs, but we can take a scenic walk along Tumbled Rock Trail, where the towering boulders lining the lake create even more spectacular Devil’s Lake Wedding moments. (optional)
