While the island is best known for its amazing beaches, it also boasts romantic little jewel-like towns where you can enjoy local culture, the comfort of an urban setting, and the sea all at once. This is also a perfect option if you’d like to invite several guests, as the locations are easy to access and require very little walking. It’s an ideal, relaxed elopement experience where you can enjoy a holiday on the island at the same time.
Mallorca is a small paradise in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, making it a wonderful choice for your European island elopement—and you can even extend your stay for your honeymoon. The island has it all: mountains, flatlands, endless beaches, cliffs, hidden bays, and incredibly varied scenery. As part of Spain, it offers a blend of Spanish vibes and strong Catalan influence, but what truly stands out is how wonderfully intercultural the island feels.
Portocolom was named after Christopher Columbus, who was (allegedly) born there. Until tourism began to rise at the turn of the 20th century, it was primarily a working fishing port. In my opinion, it’s the most charming and cozy little town in Mallorca, remaining surprisingly untouched by mass tourism. It offers several beaches with different landscapes, great restaurants and cafés, and many hidden gems to discover.
We begin the day by photographing your getting-ready moments, then head to the first location for your first-look photos. From there, we go to the spot where you’ll say your “YES” and celebrate together! After a coffee and a snack, we take a walk around Portocolom and its beaches before ending the day with a final sunset photo session. Your elopement concludes with a lovely seaside dinner at a local restaurant.
