Itinerary

Elopement in Tennessee

  • Getting Ready: Begin your Smoky Mountain elopement at your hotel, cabin, or Airbnb. I can recommend beautiful accommodations nearby and capture the excitement, details, and quiet moments before your adventure begins.

  • First Look: Share an intimate first look surrounded by nature, creating a meaningful start to your Smoky Mountain wedding package before the ceremony.

  • Ceremony & Vow Exchange: Exchange your vows during a beautiful elopement in Tennessee, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and the peaceful beauty of the Smokies.

  • Couple Portraits: Celebrate your Tennessee elopement with a portrait session at a scenic river, waterfall, or mountain location, capturing unforgettable memories together.

  • Forest Adventure & Picnic: Take a relaxed walk through the forest as part of your journey to elope in Tennessee, followed by a cozy wedding cake picnic surrounded by nature.

  • End of Coverage: Conclude your experience to get married in Smoky Mountain with beautiful memories and a collection of stunning photographs. If you'd like to extend your day, additional activities can be added to your wedding package in Tennessee to create an even more personalized celebration.

Your dream day begins with a Smoky Mountain wedding package designed entirely around your vision, allowing you to create a celebration that feels authentic, meaningful, and unforgettable. This sample itinerary serves as a starting point, and every detail can be customized to match your wishes, priorities, and adventure as you elope in Tennessee.

I highly recommend including getting-ready photos, a first look, and plenty of time for couple portraits. These moments help tell the complete story of your day while creating a relaxed, stress-free experience and a beautiful collection of memories to look back on for years to come.

It's also important to prepare for changing weather conditions. Mountain weather can shift quickly, so I recommend bringing layers of clothing, waterproof gear, and sun protection to ensure you're comfortable throughout your celebration, regardless of what the day brings.

Ceremony Venue

Your ceremony will take place at a permitted location within the Great Smoky Mountains or the Blue Ridge Mountains, offering stunning natural backdrops for your celebration. A variety of approved ceremony sites are available, each with its own unique scenery and atmosphere.

Because your ceremony will be held in a public setting, I recommend reviewing the National Park guidelines and regulations for wedding and elopement ceremonies before your day.

Any required ceremony permit fees are included in your Smoky Mountain wedding package, and I will handle the entire permit application process on your behalf. If your ceremony takes place in the Smoky Mountains, the package also includes parking permits for up to two vehicles, if required.

Please note that ceremony locations cannot be guaranteed until the National Park Service has officially approved the permit. The parks recommend selecting a few backup locations in case your preferred site is unavailable for your desired date or time. I will guide you through the entire process and help you choose the best options for your elopement in Tennessee.

Some of my favorite locations for couples who want to elope in Tennessee include Foothills Parkway, Newfound Gap, Clingmans Dome, and Metcalf Bottoms, each offering breathtaking views and unforgettable scenery for your wedding day.
