Located in the Uncompaghre River Valley at 7,792 feet, surrounded by the snow-capped San Juan Mountains. You almost expect to hear yodeling echo from these high hills. Ouray and the surrounding picturesque mountain towns offer a variety of Jeep roads and hiking trails to explore. During our time together for your epic mountain elopement, I will be able to show you amazing mountain peaks, roaring waterfalls, wildflower carpeted meadows, and more! You have the option of seeing the alpenglow, the rosy light of the setting, or the rising sun seen on high mountains, which is truly a breathtaking sight to see. I specialize in capturing the truth of a moment and turning it into an immersive, jaw-dropping image. There are many off-roading trails to choose from and different mountains to see, we can discuss exactly what you want upon booking! I love the couples that are up for anything and trust me fully with planning out and shooting their day. I had one couple that comes to mind that were a perfect example of this! We originally had planned a 9-mile hike for their elopement, but due to a very busy holiday weekend, we completely changed everything the morning of, to a full day of jeeping in the mountains. They totally trusted me with taking them to epic locations, and it was one of my favorite days ever. And they raved about the day and how I made it amazing for them. Client can pack a picnic lunch or have a local restaurant pack lunch for the day.
