The west coast of Galicia is one of the most stunning parts of the Spanish coast, largely undiscovered by international tourism, it remains an untouched paradise waiting to be discovered. This mountain & beaches wedding package in Spain will allow you to explore the white sand beaches and crystal clear waters of the Rias Baixas (famous for its wine and seafood) by stand up paddleboard. The experience then culminates in an ascent of Monte Pindo with a wedding on the summit in one of the most stunning and original locations it is possible to imagine. Following the ascent, you will finish the experience with an intimate meal in a small private restaurant on the side of the mountain.

• Day 1

  Arrival at either Santiago de Compostela/ La Coruña airport between 14:00- 18:00. An airport transfer will take you to your boutique hotel in Santiago de Compostela. In the evening at 19:00 you will be taken on a Wine and Tapas tour of the old town of Santiago de Compostela. You will visit; the cathedral, which is the end of the Saint James ‘camino’ pilgrimage, the famous squares of the medieval city and enjoy culinary delights in the small stone taverns of the narrow city streets.

• Day 2

  After a delicious continental breakfast you will be driven to the coast where you will explore the crystal clear blue waters of the ria by stand-up paddleboard and enjoy a refreshing swim. You will have lunch in a traditional Galician restaurant, where fish and seafood are the specialities. In the evening, you will ascend to the summit of Monte Louro to watch the beautiful sunset with stunning views over the white sand beaches of Area Maior and Lariño, with a photo session on the summit to capture the memories and emotions of the day. Dinner will be provided at your next stop, which will be a modern and cosy coastal hotel. Here you find some fantastic local specialities such as octopus and scallops, as well as the world-famous ‘Ternera Gallega’ Galician beef.

• Day 3

  The day will begin with a tasty breakfast that will set you up for the hike to the top of Monte Pindo. The ascent takes you past dramatic granite spires with incredible views of the coastline on all sides, this is a 5-hour ascent, so make sure you bring comfortable shoes! There will be a light picnic lunch of local fayre, including freshly made bread, Galician soft cheese and a selection of gastronomical treats. In the late afternoon, when you get to the top, the magic will happen. This is the place of Celtic legends and myths; this stunning landscape will be the scene for your private wedding ceremony, in one of the most unique and picturesque locations in Spain. After descending Monte Pindo in the evening, you will be taken to a beautiful rural country house hotel. Locally crafted from stone and wood, this quiet retreat will provide you with a place to relax and unwind from the day’s excitement. The evening culminates in an unforgettable culinary experience. A six-course tasting menu in a private dining room, set in the luscious green woodland at the back of the mountain.

• Day 4

  After enjoying breakfast views over the lake which leads to the top of an impressive waterfall, there will be an airport transfer service to either Santiago de Compostela or La Coruña airport. From 10:00- 14:00.

This experience is just as suitable as a honeymoon, proposal or adventure photo session. It can be adapted to suit your fitness and experience (and that of your guests). The exact itinerary can also be adapted or extended as needed.
