As a California native, I can guide you to quiet, crowd-free spots, the best sunrise or sunset locations, and ideal areas for each season. Whether you imagine exchanging vows overlooking towering boulders, wandering the meadows at sunrise, or sharing a private moment under a star-filled sky, Yosemite transforms even the simplest moments into something unforgettable.

This itinerary for your California Elopement Package in Yosemite can be completely reimagined to fit your vision. I’m familiar with the entire park and am more than happy to offer you different views or locations for your elopement. Please note, elopements on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays can be difficult as some areas get crowded and permits can be harder to get. I recommend a weekday for the best experience.
I’ll meet you at your accommodations to go over our plans for the day. I’ll snap some getting-ready and detail photos, and we can do a first look if you’d like!

Take a moment to celebrate being a married couple and take some along the trail. We can even head right up to the base of Yosemite Falls if you don't mind the mist!
Last stop at my favorite Yosemite Viewpoint for golden hour, sunset, and blue hour photos! We’ll take some photos at the viewpoint, then walk up to my secret spot away from the tourists and document your first dance on the cliffside.
End of photographic coverage. Time to enjoy the rest of your evening together.
Every Yosemite National Park Elopement I do is customized and adapted for each couple I work with. When you book your Yosemite National Park Elopement with me, we’ll chat about your vision and discuss what scenery you’d like to be the backdrop of your Yosemite Elopement Ceremony. I recommend choosing at least 2 different spots during your Yosemite elopement wedding, but some couples love to spend the whole time really getting to explore and hike around one amazing location, and some pick up to 3 or 4 to see more of what Yosemite has to offer.
Ceremony Venue
A special use permit is required for any wedding or ceremony in Yosemite National Park. The permit fee is 150 USD , and only approved locations listed by the park may be used for your ceremony. I can help you navigate the permit process and choose the best available location for your date and group size.
Legal Ceremony Information
In California, your marriage license must be obtained within 90 days of your ceremony date. Fees and procedures may vary depending on the county courthouse, but I’m happy to guide you through the process.
As an ordained minister, I can sign your marriage license as your officiant. Please note that in this arrangement, I would not be conducting the ceremony itself, only completing the legal signing. If you prefer, I can also recommend an officiant to perform your ceremony, and I can still serve as a witness and handle the signing.
