We’ll be walking through the entire village of Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Your wedding in the South of France begins in the morning, before the heat sets in and while the streets are still quiet. Most couples love to start at sunrise during the summer.
We typically begin with bridal portraits as the sun rises over the village from a breathtaking viewpoint. From there, we head to a nearby location for your vow exchange, either within the village itself or in a peaceful olive grove just outside town.
After the ceremony of your France elopement, we’ll stroll through this magical village, capturing stunning wedding portraits among its charming stone alleys and scenic overlooks.
Once the portrait session of your France elopement wraps up, you have the option to continue with photos in a nearby village or a lavender field (available only in late June to early July).
Afterwards, you can return to Gordes for a delicious lunch or head back to your accommodation for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
The itinerary for your France elopement is completely flexible and tailored, but we recommend starting early in the morning to take advantage of the most beautiful light—and to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before the day becomes too bright and warm.
